Lucas A. Meyer, Upnotch Member, is a Principal Data Scientist at the AI for Good Research Lab at Microsoft.
Over the last 10+ years, Lucas has been working on using data science to fight bad actors, especially in the corruption and fraud spaces. He’s earned industry awards and presented data science projects to the CEOs and CFOs of some of the top companies in the world.
He enjoys building and finding flaws in systems and processes, and is an excellent team builder. He is also an accomplished programmer, especially in Python and SQL, and has built production products in many languages and frameworks.
Lucas loves mentoring and would be a great mentor to anyone transitioning into a technical management position or anyone in data science. He is also looking for a mentor himself - someone with experience leading teams in humanitarian actions.
