Meet Andrea, Engineering Mentor on Upnotch

Andrea Marciales, Upnotch Member, is a Corrosion Engineer at InnoTech Alberta and Marketing Specialist at the Women in Engineering Summit.

Holding a Master’s degree in Petroleum Engineering from the University of Alberta, she specializes in applied research on internal corrosion in pipelines, heavy crude oil, and petroleum/reservoir engineering. Her work is dedicated to developing innovative solutions that drive advancements in the energy sector. In addition to her engineering expertise, she is passionate about marketing and has even started her own business, focusing on helping engineers with their marketing needs. She actively volunteers to support women in engineering and STEM fields and is dedicated to empowering women to pursue entrepreneurship.

Andrea would be an excellent mentor to women in engineering or STEM, especially those interested in entrepreneurship.
