Meet Jim, Sales Mentor on Upnotch

Jim Schaffer, Upnotch Member, has decades of experience in sales and corporate sales leadership.

While working fulltime in the software, market research and media/advertising industries, in 1990 he founded Jim Schaffer & Associates to consult with corporations and deliver his Path of Mastery workshops, designed for sales teams, client success teams, and others in client-facing roles. Jim's work focuses on applying mindfulness principles to enhance performance, engagement, and joy—helping teams stay focused and high-performing even in stressful environments. His approach is rooted in principles that are over 2,600 years old but are incredibly relevant in today’s fast-paced world.

Jim transitioned to full-time consulting in 2023. His 35-year meditation practice combined with his real-world experience in companies of all sizes has allowed him to guide teams in solving problems while helping them sustain long-term focus and high performance.
