Jonathan Mena, Upnotch Member, is an IT Security Incident Analyst at MCS Puerto Rico with over 10 years of experience in IT.

Though his formal education is in Biology, having returned to school in August 2020 to complete his degree, Jonathan has cultivated an extensive, self-taught expertise in computer science, software engineering, DevOps, and cloud solutions. Combining his scientific curiosity with a passion for technology, he is driven to push the boundaries of cybersecurity by developing innovative solutions to real-world challenges.

Jonathan’s goal is to become a top-tier security researcher, leveraging his technical leadership and blending technical and non-technical perspectives to bridge complex cybersecurity concepts with practical applications. He is committed to creating secure, scalable technologies and implementing comprehensive security measures to enhance IT infrastructure.
