Meet Perouz, AI Research Mentor on Upnotch

Perouz Taslakian, Upnotch member, is an AI Research Scientist and Research Lead at ServiceNow Research, where she leads the Multimodal Foundation Models Program. Her work focuses on efficient large language inference and multimodal reasoning.

Formerly a professor and chair of the BSc in Computational Sciences program, she holds a PhD in Computer Science from McGill University and has authored numerous publications and patents in AI and machine learning. Fluent in Python, PyTorch and the full ML stack — from theory and modeling to production — Perouz brings deep academic insight and industrial impact.
