Andrew Gordon, Upnotch member, is both a scholar and a practitioner in leadership and organizational behavior. An executive coach and consultant, his professional focus is on fostering positive leadership and positive organizations that create success while enabling human thriving. His compassionate approach incorporates diversity, equity, and inclusion into organizational culture, practices, and mindsets. His career includes roles in business administration, executive communications, employee satisfaction, database design, and software engineering, technical project and program management, and corporate mindfulness, including 9 years at Boeing and 10 years with the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation.
Over the years, Andy has strived to inspire employees to bring their best to their role by recognizing their value and strengths while helping them to develop their skills and confidence. Andy is currently an executive PhD candidate in Values-Driven Leadership at Benedictine University. He also holds an MS in Values-Driven Leadership and an MA in Management with a specialty in Innovation Leadership. Andy holds certificates in Appreciative Inquiry for organizational change and in Contemplative Psychology and he is a Project Management Professional (PMP®).
